As far as my template....if you don't like the simplicity, go to a site with flash and shit cause I ain't doin' shit to this one. Now, on to my topic of discussion today. My lady friends are gonna get mad and all but I feel it needs to be said. Maybe Berkely will pick it up and do some research. It'd be worthy.
In most cases, women age faster than men. Wait.....do I hear some of you snickering? Ya'll know it's true. You can't deny general appearance.
For example...walk down the ladies aisle (in a manly way of course) and look at all the damn tubes and bottles and shit. You'll see skin revitalizers, age beautifiers, wrinkle smoothers, horsemanure for your cellulite and all kinds of shit....what do men have? Moisturizer in their damn shaving creme? Yep....argue that fact! You can't!
But I still like you all, all 3 million of you and I'll have no hard feelings whatsoever if you want to curse me out but you have to agree with me. Period.
Mom's back in the hospital and had ANOTHER surgery yesterday. They put a "shunt" in. I'd explain it to you but I don't understand it myself. My sister does but she's a lot smarter than me.

I think your site is just fine the way it is. :) Also, I agree with you- we do seem to age faster, I think it's the whole concept that the celebrity realm believes women shouldn't age at all. When should your mom be out?

Second, I disagree. Mike I'm nearly 30. I've had one kid. When I go out with my hubby and before I was married no one believes my ID. I would get hit on by 19 years olds, LMAO, not that I bit the line but still. People still think I'm maybe 20ish. LOL. I take good care of myself and always have-- I see that reward now. Seriously.

I won't disagree with you either. Men don't seem to care as much as women do about their appearance as they age. Up until recently, I didn't need moisterizer. And let's not talk about blemishes! I feel like I'm in my teenage years again.
As for translating, I got one too yesterday. I went to my online translator & it couldn't translate it. So I'm wondering if it is spanish.....
I disagree with the aging thing. We may or may not age faster, but we feel pressure not to age or to "stay beautiful" by media and society, hence the multitude of products in our aisles. Men don't wear makeup either for the same reason.

Also, different countries have different dialects, so Brazilian Portugese is different from Portugal Portugese. I have the same problem with Dutch. I understand Dutch. I can't understand Dutch from people who live in South Africa. They speak it different.

I use a moisturizer in the winter because my skin gets all dry (and shit) but other than that, in my late 30's I still get carded sometimes - so there.
Some women look like a dried up catcher's mitt at my age though.
It's a lot to do with genetics. Plus, I have never nbeen big on makeup (just eyeliner) and I think a lot of that makeup shit smothers your skin and accelerates your aging.

As for women aging faster...to some degree, I do agree with that...we have kids, probably worry more..etc. But then again a man aging is more accepted by society...and considered "distinguished", at an age most women would just be looked at as old.
You would think that gallon container of lotion with the convenient pump in the bathroom would be mine...and you'd be wrong.

Here's how it is, and this has been studied and proven.
Men appear to look younger than women because they SHAVE every day (or pretty darn near to it). Even if men don't use a regular skincare product regimen, they are daily cleansing and exfoliating their face when they shave and thus always removing the dull, dry surface skin and exposing the newer, freshe, healthier skin underneath. Lots of men have younger, healthier-looking skin in their old age simply because of the necessity of having to shave on a regular basis.
Note to women- get a good skincare regimen and use it religiously, even if you are too tired from birthing babies, working, caring for wild children, cleaning and cooking and just want to fall into bed at night. Don't forego that crucial step!
also, men tend to sleep through air-raids and other such noises and usually are better rested than women because they're not up all hours of the night caring for everyone else that lives in the house.

It isn't spanish, its portuguese/Brazilian which is similar to spanish.

One theory why men may seem to age more slowly is because shaving exfoliates the skin, which sloughs off dead skin cells, making the skin look smoother. I heard that in a cosmetology school skin care class.
The skin slows down the process of shedding dead cells as we age, so it is a good thing to exfoliate regularly.
All you 30 somethings...start using eye cream + moisturizer.
